About Us
Chef Bill McCarty was trained at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde
Park, New York.  He is the only professionally trained chef offering catering
and consulting services in Middle Tennessee.  Bill grew up in Brattleboro,
Vermont, and San Diego, California.  His early credits include Boy Scout
cooking chief, spectacular 3rd grade bake sales (Crazy Cake!), and
elementary school projects that included picking and hand-grinding fresh
dried corn to make corn muffins.  This is a man who has loved and pursued
good food all his life.

Bill has worked

Bill's Executive Chef partner is his wife, Donna, whom he met while working at
a private club in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  A college student at the time,
Donna was more accustomed to frat parties and bar-hopping; food was a
very low priority on the collegiate budget.  A date that included a nice dinner
was a rare and strange event before Bill came along!  But over the years, Bill
and Donna have developed the ideal culinary working relationship:  Bill is the
master of food, while Donna makes the business run in the areas of
bookkeeping, advertising and day-to-day operations.  She also provides ideas,
ideas and more ideas for menus, not to mention that she's become a darn
good line cook, too.

But Bill McCarty is the genius that makes Executive Chef food the best you'll
find in Middle Tennessee.  With a background as a classically trained chef, and
regional influences from all over the United States and Europe, Bill can
produce exquisite food in a variety of price ranges and styles.  He is also
extremely competent in a wide variety of authentic ethnic cuisines, including
Thai, Indian, Mexican, and Classical French.
